Résumé

Le diagnostic éducatif constitue la première étape de la démarche éducative. Toutefois l’approche systémique recommandée peut conduire paradoxalement à une standardisation et ainsi une simplification excessive de la compréhension de la situation de santé du patient en limitant par exemple la prise en compte de facteurs psychosociaux. Ce travail, propose d’adosser des modèles explicatifs issus de la psychologie de la santé à la conception du diagnostic éducatif, afin d’améliorer la compréhension de la situation de santé du patient. Ainsi à partir d’une situation clinique d’un jeune homme atteint de schizophrénie, nous proposons un construit combinant le modèle de la Théorie du Comportement Planifié et le modèle de Cash. Quatre dimensions supplémentaires y ont été ajoutées, importantes en termes d’éducation, et ne relevant pas des modèles choisis : la littératie en santé, l’intéroception, les préférences pédagogiques de la personne et les symptômes propres à la schizophrénie. Néanmoins, la réalisation de ce DE effectuée dans le cadre d’une formation universitaire, soulève la question de faisabilité : l’accès à des ressources documentaires spécialisées et la mobilisation de compétences spécifiques en particulier en ingénierie pédagogique et en psychologie de la santé. Une autre question porte sur la transférabilité de cette conception dans l’organisation actuelle des services de soins.

Abstract

Educational diagnosis is the first step in the educational process. However, the recommended systemic approach can paradoxically lead to standardization and thus an excessive simplification of the understanding of the patient’s health situation, for example by limiting the consideration of psychosocial factors. This work proposes to base explanatory models from health psychology on the design of educational diagnosis in order to improve understanding of the patient’s health situation. Thus, based on the clinical situation of a young man with schizophrenia, we propose a construct combining the Theory of Planned Behavior model and the Cash model. Four additional dimensions have been added that are important in terms of education and not covered by the chosen models: health literacy, interoception, the person’s educational preferences, and symptoms specific to schizophrenia. Nevertheless, the completion of this DE carried out as part of a university course, raises the question of feasibility: access to specialized documentary resources and the mobilization of specific skills, particularly in educational engineering and health psychology. Another question concerns the transferability of this design to the current organization of healthcare services.
